Drumoak-Durris Men's Group hosted MOAA breakfast

On Saturday 12th September, the Drumoak-Durris Men's Group hosted an area breakfast for the Men of All Ages Christian Men's Fellowship. About 40 men attended, from 6 different fellowship groups in the Aberdeenshire area, including Dyce, Newhills, Newmachar to name but three.
Ian Milne compered the event which included hymns, Bible readings and commentaries, prayers and thought provoking discourses. The hymn singing, ably led by the Rev Hugh Wallace from Newhills on guitar, was rousing, to say the very least. A lighter touch was provided by „The Gypes“, for which no translation was provided, although one might well have been needed by some of the audience.
Andy Milne gave an absorbing account of the MOAA's beginnings and its future direction – which largely, if not entirely, depend on the present and future actions of all those present.
Everyone who attended left feeling refreshed in body and especially in spirit, and very much looking forward to the next event which is a larger gsathering on October 24th at Thainstone.
